Out of the box, it costs nothing, so you need no crowns or materials. Your equipped weapons and armor grow stronger as Geralt levels up. Therefore, over-leveled relics and quest rewards scale down to your level, and you can equip them immediately. The mod also tunes newly found weapons and armor from chests and enemy drops to your level. Meanwhile, blacksmiths and armorers temper your gear one piece at a time from their regular Repair tab. Moreover, an automatic mode tempers all your gear the moment you talk to a craftsman. Beyond that, weapon and armor repair kits temper your gear on the road. Crossbows scale their attack power with your level, and high-tier bolts lose their level locks at no cost. You can equip relic crossbows at any level. Furthermore, secondary stats such as crit chance and resistances scale down on over-leveled gear. They return to full strength as you level up. Finally, a full in-game menu lets you adjust costs, material choices, and gear scope, and it supports 16 languages.
