Killer Bean is a free-to-play first-person and third-person action roguelite developed and published by Killer Bean Studios LLC. It launched in Early Access on June 8, 2026 for PC on Steam. Based on Jeff Lew’s cult Flash animation series, the game casts you as Killer Bean, a rogue assassin coffee bean seeking revenge against the Shadow Agency.

About the Game

Killer Bean continues the story after Killer Bean Forever, following the narrative thread of the canceled animated series about defeating the Shadow Agency. You navigate procedurally generated islands, fighting through the agency’s forces using a mix of first-person and third-person gunplay. The game was originally slated for Early Access in 2024 but was delayed until June 2026.

The Early Access build includes four biomes and eight bosses. Being free-to-play removes the barrier to entry for the beloved cult character’s fanbase. The roguelite structure means no two runs play out quite the same way.
