Subnautica 2 makes thirst drain at a fairly fast pace, which can interrupt exploration and base building more often than it needs to. The Slower Thirst Degradation mod changes that timer so thirst and water drop every 60 seconds instead of every 15 seconds. Furthermore, the mod installs directly through the game’s pak override folder with no extra loader required. Consequently, hydration becomes less intrusive while still remaining part of the survival loop.

Download the mod archive and extract it to your PC.
Open your Subnautica 2 installation folder and navigate to:
Subnautica2\Content\Paks\

Erstellen Sie einen Ordner mit dem Namen ~mods inside Paks if it does not already exist.
Copy these three files into the ~mods folder:

Launch Subnautica 2. The slower thirst timer now applies automatically.
To uninstall, delete the three mod files from the ~mods Ordner.
