Dead Space-Regisseur: Gears of War hat das schlechteste Drehbuch

Dead Space story producer didn't shy away from naming Gears of War as the game that has "literally the worst writing" in the industry.

"It contains atrocious, offensive violations of story basics," sagte er. "Yet it doesn't seem to ruin it for many, many people. It's literally the worst writing in games, but seems to have no ill effects."

But that doesn't mean that Beaver's own Dead Space is much better. In fact, the story director admitted that Dead Space's story is "just a simple haunted house story" with a "pasted a personal aspect on top of" manifested in Isaac's dead girlfriend's story.

As for the best game story, Beaver chose Portal 2, which he believes "succeeds at least as much on its writing as its masterful platformer level design."
