Pequeñas pesadillas III is the third main installment in the acclaimed horror-adventure series. Released on October 10, 2025, it marks a major shift for the franchise as development moves from Tarsier Studios to Supermassive Games (Hasta el amanecer, The Dark Pictures). This entry introduces two new protagonists, Low and Alone, who must navigate “The Spiral”—a cluster of disturbing, dystopian worlds. For the first time, the series features online co-op, allowing players to face the nightmare with a friend or tackle it solo with an AI companion.
Jugabilidad y características principales

Co-op Horror: The biggest addition is online co-op. You and a friend can play as Low and Alone together. If you prefer solo play, the second character is controlled by a competent AI, keeping the “two-character” dynamic central to the puzzles.
Unique Tools: Each character has a signature item. Low wields a bow to hit distant targets and cut ropes, while Alone uses a wrench to smash obstacles and operate machinery. Puzzles are designed around combining these abilities.
The Spiral: Explore a series of distinct, nightmarish biomes. Confirmed locations include the desolate Necropolis, a giant factory, and a creepy carnival. Each area has its own “Residents”—monstrous foes you must sneak past or outsmart.
Atmospheric Stealth: The core gameplay remains true to the series’ DNA: stealth, platforming, and puzzle-solving. You are small and vulnerable in a world built for giants. Survival depends on hiding in shadows, distracting enemies, and timing your movements perfectly.
New Developer, Same DNA: Supermassive Games has aimed to preserve the tactile, eerie feel of the originals while adding their own polish to the cinematic storytelling and camera work.

Little Nightmares III vs Previous Titles

Vs. Little Nightmares II: The most obvious change is true online co-op. LN2 featured an AI companion (Six), but you couldn’t play with a friend. LN3 builds its entire puzzle design around two active players (or player + AI).
