About the Game

Masters of Albion operates on a day/night cycle that changes the type of game it is every few minutes. During the day, you manage a living village — placing homes, farms, workshops, and defences. Furthermore, at night, the settlement comes under attack and every choice you made during the day is tested. As a result, the build phase and the defend phase are directly and constantly linked.

The God Hand and Village Management

Your primary tool is the floating god hand. It lets you construct and customise every aspect of the settlement in real time. Production chains govern how food, clothing, weapons, and housing are produced. Furthermore, citizens respond dynamically to the conditions you create — a well-fed village fights harder at night. Consequently, every building placement carries real consequences for both phases.

Possession and the RPG Layer

At any moment, you can drop out of god mode and directly possess any character. This includes heroes, ballista towers, and even a dog for a specific quest. When possessing a character, the game shifts into a third-person adventure RPG with direct combat. Furthermore, your divine powers — lightning and fireballs — remain available in both modes. Therefore, you can manage the village from above or dive into the ground-level chaos personally.
