Valor Mortis comes from developer One More Level, the studio behind Ghostrunner, and publisher Lyrical Games. The game released on October 13, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is a first-person action Soulslike set in a plague-ravaged Europe, so danger waits around every corner. Players take the role of William, a soldier of Napoleon’s Grande Armée who rises from a battlefield grave.

Because of the first-person camera, players see every fight directly through William’s eyes. Additionally, a range of weapons lets players mix saber, pistol, and other tools into personal styles.
