Easy CD Creator 5 Dangerous

Reports from users have convinced retailers of Easy CD Creator 5 that it posed enough of a threat to Windows 2000 to warrant an official warning.
The first symptoms witnessed by unsuspecting Win 2K users were a higher, than usual, Blue Screen incidence and a dramatic increase in boot time.
Since the problem has been traced to the Take Two module of the software one easy way to avoid such problems, if you haven't already installed the program, is to select custom installation during the set up process and to uncheck the take two option.
