Viking Frontiers comes from developer BLUM Entertainment, working alongside Wildlands Interactive, and publisher PlayWay S.A. The game released on April 23, 2025, for PC. Players wash up on an unfamiliar shore as the leader of a scattered Viking clan, tasked with building a new settlement and proving themselves worthy of the title of Jarl.

Beyond base building, players can pursue expeditions, raids, and numerous quests tied to the Viking sagas that inspired the setting. A day and night cycle and random events keep individual playthroughs varied, whether players lean into the path of the hunter, farmer, priest, builder, or some mix of all four. The realistic first-person visuals aim to ground the game’s Norse mythology in a tangible, hands-on survival loop.
