Crimson Desert uses an outdated running mechanic. You must constantly hold the A button to sprint. The Smooth Movement mod completely removes this annoying requirement. It automatically triggers a run when you tilt your thumbstick far enough. You finally avoid unnecessary button mashing during long travels. This modernizes the entire exploration experience significantly.

How to Get Started

First, download the mod ZIP file to your PC.
Unzip the downloaded archive completely.
Locate your main Crimson Desert installation folder.
Ouvrir le bin64 directory inside that main folder.
Lieu CDSmoothmove.asi, CDSmoothmove.iniet version.dll into this folder.
Launch the game to enjoy your new movement controls.
To uninstall the mod, open your bin64 folder again.

Good to Know

The mod currently supports XInput controllers only.
Native DualSense controllers require Steam Input ou DS4Windows to function properly.
You still need to double-tap the A button to perform a full sprint.
You can easily edit the INI file to adjust the exact run threshold.
