As announced, Final Fantasy X will be released in North America for the PS2 on December 18.

Final Fantasy X has been moved from the original December 26 release date to December 18, Squaresoft has conformed this officially. The PS2 title will be available nationwide on December 20, just in time for Santa ! The game's full release will still be in January, so this early shipment will be limited to mostly pre-orders. The game was released in Japan a few months late on July 19 (which was why it was delayed in the US for a September release); reportedly it has sold 2.48 million copies in Japan since it's release.
