Pizza Hut Xbox 360 App Made $1 Million In Four Months

Xbox 360 users have bought $1 million worth of Pizzas from Pizza Hut’s Xbox LIVE app during its first 4 months.

“It’s been a source of unbelievable growth for us,” said Pizza Hut public relations director Doug Terfehr. “Just the explosion of people who wanted to download it, experiment with it, play with it with Kinect.”

The Pizza Hut app was launched on Xbox LIVE last year. It allows users to make their selections from the complete Pizza Hut menu then choose between delivery and pick-up.

This unexpected success has prompted Pizza Hut to explore its options with the new consoles generation. “Conversations continue to be ongoing with us. Wherever you are, we want to be,” said Terfehr, speaking of gamers. “When you talk about a sweet spot for the pizza category, it’s definitely gamers and gaming.”
