Terminator: Resistance is a shooter set 3 decades after Judgement Day
The Terminator is back again with a new movie and hopefully it wonât spoil the big plot twist in the trailer this time. Set to run alongside the movie universe, Terminator: Resistance is a brand new game that will be landing on PC and major consoles on November 15. Itâll be set 31 years after Judgement Day and see you playing a soldier fighting the machines as they slowly strangle the life out of the last remnants of humanity.
âDespite the fact that Jacob is just a private, heâll soon discover that heâs been targeted by the latest threat from SKYNET and marked for termination,â the gameâs blurb reads (via Eurogamer).
âSKYNET may be destined to lose this war, but at what cost to Jacob? Experience the events leading up to the decisive final battle, smash SKYNETâs Defence Grid and help decide the fate of mankind in the war against the machines!â
The game hints that how you play the game will impact the story, who will survive, and the kind of ending youâll get. Details arenât super thick right now, but the game looks relatively polished. We wouldnât be surprised if thereâs a few bugs and problems though. This is a movie tie-in after all.
