TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan screenshots leaked
As much as the Ninja turtles might be one of the most fondly remembered IPs for those of us who did our growing in the â90s, it hasnât has the best of times with computer game adaptations in recent eyars. That doesnât mean they arenât going to keep trying though.
The next game in the barrel is TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan, and looks to have a cell-shaded, but detailed art style that makes it look like itâs right out of a comic book. We only know this of course because someone leaked screenshots from the game, but thatâs hardly a bad thingâŠright?
The screengrabs show each of the iconic turtles battling it out with a variety of enemies, each one wielding their unique weaponry and occupying specific stances that look to differentiate the four, green fighting machines from one another.
It looks like the foot clan is back, as thereâs plenty of mask wearing enemies to knock on their asses, but there are some more exciting enemies, including Bebop and presumably Rocksteady too, though the latter doesnât feature in any of the images.
Locales are expected to be all around Manhattan, since thatâs where the game is based, but from the screens we can spot that thereâs at least one construction site, at least one level based in the sewers and another that looks like a number of safety deposit boxes in a bank.
No word on when this game is expected to release, but itâs looking to be well on the way to completion and will presumably land on all major platforms.
