L'alpha fermée de Wild West Online commence le 15 septembre
The open world wild west-themed MMO, Wild West Online, that was initially shopped around as indicative of an impending Red Dead Redemption 2, is now set to enter its first bit of public testing. Or at least, limited public testing. It is set to launch its first closed alpha test event on September 15.
To become a part of Wild West Onlineâs first testing phase, all you need do is preorder the game. Developer 612 Games does warn that itâs not quite in its release-state, hence the testing, but wants everyone taking part to know that they are supporting the gameâs development, not buying a feature complete title.
To gain access to the closed Alpha you canât just buy the Townie edition though, youâll need to put down $40 for the Pioneer Edition of the game. With that, youâll also get access to the beta which is set to take place sometime this Fall, as well as a number of in-game extras. Youâll get the Pioneer in-game title, 250 treasury notes, additional storage space, garment bags, gun engraving stencils and a small plot of land.
You can also splash out $60 for the Collectorâs edition, which gives you everything in the Pioneer edition, but more. You also get early access to the Closed Beta and early access to the gameâs final release version. In-game youâll get two small plots of land and one large one, as well as more than double the other extras Pioneer buyers get.
To make sure everyone is happy about what theyâre getting though, 612 Games has announced a no fuss refund policy. That means that up until September 27, if you donât like the game, you can get yourself a full refund, no questions asked.
