Each character in your group can develop across four distinct skill tracks: Service, Survival, Management, and Crafting. Developing all four tracks simultaneously gives your group the widest range of capabilities for handling the challenges the world throws at you.

Batteries are the key resource powering your operations. They fuel equipment, vehicles, and critical survival gear across every leg of your journey. Without a reliable battery supply, your options for both travel and combat shrink rapidly. Character health determines how long your survivors last during hostile encounters and harsh environmental conditions. Points in each skill category work alongside experience to drive character development, so managing both tracks for each survivor directly shapes how capable your group becomes over time.

Free Cheats for The Walking Trade

Santé de la recharge : Restores health for your currently active character. Use this after a tough combat encounter to avoid losing a survivor to lingering damage between engagements.
Refill Health (Highlighted Character): Restores health specifically for the character you have highlighted in your party interface. This gives precise control over which survivor receives the heal, which is useful when one character has taken more damage than the rest of your group.
Add Experience (Service): Adds experience directly to a character’s Service skill track. Service covers trade, negotiation, and customer-facing interactions with settlements. Leveling it faster improves your trading margins and opens better deals with merchants you encounter along the route.
Set Points (Service): Sets the Points total in the Service track to a specific value. Points in each skill category fund individual upgrades within that track. Setting Service Points directly lets you invest in specific Service upgrades without waiting for enough points to accumulate through normal activity.

Santé illimitée : Prevents any character’s health from depleting through combat or environmental damage. This removes survivor attrition entirely so you can focus on trading routes, resource planning, and group development without a single bad fight threatening to permanently weaken your team.

Experience Tracks

Add Experience (Survival): Adds experience to a character’s Survival skill track. Survival covers combat, scavenging, and staying alive in dangerous zones. Leveling it faster makes your survivors more effective in hostile areas and improves their chances during encounters with threats on the road.
Add Experience (Management): Adds experience to a character’s Management track. Management governs how efficiently your group operates as a whole, from resource allocation to group decision-making. Higher Management experience improves your group’s overall productivity and reduces waste across daily operations.
Add Experience (Crafting): Adds experience to a character’s Crafting track. Crafting covers equipment repair, item creation, and gear maintenance. Faster Crafting leveling keeps your group’s tools and vehicles operational without relying on expensive merchant repairs at every settlement stop.

Skill Points

Set Points (Survival): Sets the Points total in the Survival track to a chosen value. Use this to fund Survival upgrades directly without grinding combat encounters to accumulate the points naturally.
Set Points (Management): Sets the Points total in the Management track directly. This gives precise control over which management upgrades you unlock, so your group’s operational efficiency can match your current trading and travel priorities.
Set Points (Crafting): Sets the Points total in the Crafting track to a specific value. More Crafting Points let you invest in gear maintenance and item creation upgrades sooner, which reduces your dependence on purchased repairs throughout the journey.

Battery Supply

Unlimited Battery Amount: Prevents your battery supply from depleting. Batteries power your vehicles and critical equipment, so keeping them permanently stocked means your operational range never shrinks due to a supply shortage on a long trading route.
Increase Battery Amount: Adds batteries to your current stock. Use this to top up your supply before a long stretch between settlements without waiting to find or trade for more batteries along the way.
Reset Battery Amount to 0: Drops your battery supply to zero. Use this as a deliberate challenge restriction that forces careful planning around your power needs before committing to a route far from the next resupply point.

How These Cheats Help

Four-track character development: Each survivor develops across Service, Survival, Management, and Crafting simultaneously. Leveling all four tracks at the default pace requires directing characters toward very different activities, which creates constant trade-offs between trading efficiency and combat readiness. The Add Experience cheats for all four tracks remove those trade-offs. As a result, every character can develop a well-rounded skill set without sacrificing one area to accelerate another.
Battery dependency: Batteries are the most critical logistical resource in The Walking Trade. Running low on a long route between settlements forces you to either backtrack or make costly detour stops. Unlimited Battery Amount removes that constraint entirely. Furthermore, Increase Battery Amount gives a more controlled top-up option when you want supply pressure to remain part of the experience without risking a critical shortage mid-route.
Survivor health and attrition: Losing a survivor to sustained damage is one of the most punishing setbacks in the game, since each character carries unique skills that are difficult to replace. Unlimited Health removes that attrition risk. Meanwhile, Refill Health and Refill Health (Highlighted Character) give precise, targeted recovery tools for sessions where you still want health to matter but need to prevent a specific survivor from falling in a single tough encounter.
Skill point investment control: The Set Points cheats for all four tracks give direct control over your upgrade economy. This is especially useful when you want to invest in a specific upgrade branch immediately rather than waiting for enough points to accumulate through the activities that naturally feed that track.
