Fields of Mistria

Fields of Mistria is developed and published by NPC Studio. It entered Steam Early Access on August 5, 2024, and reached its full 1.0 release on August 5, 2026, for Windows. Players arrive in the coastal village of Mistria after an earthquake devastates the town, taking over an overgrown homestead in exchange for helping restore both the land and the strange magic now flowing through it.

Fields of Mistria builds on the classic farm-sim formula while adding its own distinct pixel-art identity and combat systems. Players farm, fish, mine, and craft to fund and expand their homestead, while a day-to-day rhythm of chores blends naturally with exploration of ancient ruins guarded by hostile creatures. Magic plays a growing role as the story unfolds, unlocking spells that assist both farming tasks and combat encounters underground.

Beyond the farm, more than 30 villagers each carry their own storylines, with 12 available as marriage candidates regardless of gender. Seasonal changes bring new quests, festivals, and even villager outfits, keeping Mistria feeling alive well beyond the initial setup. Raising animals adds another layer of depth, since players can breed rare color variants, and mining and archaeology give dedicated collectors dozens of museum donation sets to complete over time.
