Dragon’s Oath: In a world on the brink of decay, where assassins thrive in the shadows and honor is but a relic of the past, Dragon’s Oath tells the gripping tale of Kael, a cold-hearted assassin whose life revolves around contracts, rewards, and his ailing mother. Driven by desperation to save her from a deadly plague, Kael ventures into the forgotten depths of an ancient dungeon in search of a rumored cure. There, fate intervenes.
Kael stumbles upon a trapped baby dragon, its shimmering scales dulled by the curse of its imprisonment. Initially seeing the dragon as nothing more than a valuable bounty, Kael prepares to kill it. However, he discovers that he is one of the rare Dragon Speakers—individuals capable of communicating with dragons through an unbreakable mental bond. The dragon, Eryndor, pleads for its life and offers a trade: the dragon’s Heartscale, a legendary protective scale capable of purging corruption, in exchange for freedom and assistance.
Bound by a mutual oath, Kael and Eryndor embark on a perilous journey. Their adventure is divided into two pivotal arcs:
The Stolen Relic
Kael learns of a thief syndicate, the Nightclaw Syndicate, that has stolen a relic capable of guiding the way to the Sky Castle, Eryndor’s homeland. The duo infiltrates the syndicate’s stronghold, battling cunning adversaries and unearthing secrets about the artifact’s mysterious origin.
The Sky Castle and War
Upon reaching the Sky Castle, Kael and Eryndor find it ravaged by invaders, the Ashmorans, a ruthless race bent on conquest. The oath fulfilled, Kael is free to walk away and return to his mother. Yet, moved by Eryndor’s plight and the bonds forged through shared hardships, he chooses to stand by the dragon. Together, they fight to liberate the Sky Castle and reunite Eryndor with its imprisoned mother.
Dragon’s Oath is a tale of transformation—of an assassin’s journey from heartless killer to reluctant hero, of a dragon’s rise from vulnerability to strength, and of the power of oaths that transcend personal gain.
