Unlike enclosed arena-style killer games, Haddonfield’s maps stay populated with active NPC residents who react to the threat around them. Heroes must scavenge weapons and household items, alert neighbors, and either call the authorities or follow preset escape routes. Michael, meanwhile, leans on stealth and a teleportation ability called Shape Jump to stalk victims. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game recreates late-1970s Haddonfield with cinematic lighting and motion capture from original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle.
