Pass the Fear comes from developer PlayMud Studio and publisher Paras Games. The game released on July 22, 2026 for PC through Steam. It is a roguelite bullet-hell shooter set on a cursed island. Players guide a ragtag group of demon hunters, so every run becomes a race to escape before dawn.

A catastrophic Witch’s Disaster has sealed the island behind a deadly Storm Wall. First, players pick a hero and enter the fight with a 12-hour countdown. Then monsters multiply, so every room demands quick aiming and careful movement. Meanwhile, the Storm Wall closes in, and that pressure forces players to keep moving. As a result, each run becomes a race between firepower and time.

Weapons and upgrades make every run different. Players collect weapon parts, relics, and tarot cards, because each pickup changes how a build performs. Additionally, elemental effects and random events keep the strategy flexible. For example, some players stack many projectiles for a fireworks display. Others pour everything into one powerful shot, so the game supports very different playstyles. Finally, a dark conspiracy slowly unravels beneath the action.
