After a trip to the cinema goes strangely wrong, players wake up sucked through a portal into a monster-filled land pulled straight from 1950s B-movies, armed only with an arsenal of repurposed sports equipment.

SPORTAL turns baseballs, hockey pucks, golf balls, and bowling balls into lethal weapons against a roster of B-movie-inspired monsters. As a roguelite arena shooter, each run sends players through procedurally arranged arenas across six themed environments, with combat built entirely around launching sporting goods rather than conventional firearms. Spiked baseballs, lightning-infused hockey pucks, exploding golf balls, and bladed bowling balls each carry their own upgrade paths.

Between waves, players pick up and upgrade clubs, bats, sticks, balls, outfits, and perks, searching for combinations that hold up against tougher arenas and famous movie monster archetypes. The retro pixelated art style leans hard into a stylized 1950s aesthetic, with skill shots, combos, and hidden secrets rewarding players who master each piece of equipment rather than relying on a single favorite weapon.
