Sony autorise les jeux inachevés sur la PlayStation 4

Thanks to the quality control enforced by platform owners such as Microsoft and Sony, console games are usually not released until they are complete and bug-free. This gives console gamers a simple plug-and-play experience at the cost of increased development time and cost. But now it seems that Sony is open to relaxing those constraints a bit.
According to SCEA VP of publishing Adam Boyes, the company is now open to having unfinished games released on PlayStation 4 as long as they donât âhave any bugs that are completely destroying the world.â
â[Dust 514] is a great example of putting out content that you know is not final,â a-t-il expliquĂ©. âIf you want to monetize it, thatâs fine. I mean, if you want to put out a game thatâs playable and does pass the checklists and stuff, you can. If it doesnât sell and you canât support, you may not want to support, but we absolutely support that.â
Boyes asserted that this policy applies to all Sony platforms including PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Mobile.
