Le budget de StarCraft 2 dépasse les 100 millions de dollars
According to the Wall Street Journal, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty development budget has surpassed $100 million.
The Wall Street Journal didn't attribute that figure to a specific source, but it is likely that a considerable part of it has been spent on the new Battle.net multiplayer service.
Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotickrecently named StarCraft II as one of the company's "seven pillars of opportunity." Kotick defines a pillar of opportunity as a game that has the potential to deliver betweenn $500 million and $1 billion of operating profit over its life span. In addition to StarCraft, Activision's 3 pillars include WarCraft, Diablo, Call of Duty and a yet unnamed MMO currently being deloped by Blizzard.
