State Of Decay Banned In Australia
Following Saints Row 4 ban, the Australian Classification Board has also banned State of Decay.
âWeâve run afoul of certain prohibitions regarding the depiction of drug use,â Undead Labsâ founder Jeff Strain posted on the gameâs forum. âWeâre working with [publisher] Microsoft to come up with options, including changing names of certain medications in the game to comply with ratings requirements. Whatever our path forward, itâs going to take a bit.â
A Microsoft spokesman also confirmed that the company â is currently evaluating the options with regards to the titleâs classification. The Australian Classification system plays an important role in ensuring that Australians can only access age-appropriate games and content.â
âI know this is frustrating â believe me, weâre frustrated too,â said Jeff Strain. âBut each country has the right to set its own rules about content, and itâs our responsibility to comply with them. Rest assured weâll do everything we can to find a way to get the game into your hands.â
