Planet Coaster 2 expands its predecessor’s piece-by-piece construction into a full theme park and water park hybrid. Enhanced building and pathing tools let players shape terrain, design sprawling plazas, and construct everything from twisting water flumes to jaw-dropping coasters with far more precision than before. Nine distinct themes, including returning favorites like Pirate and Western alongside new additions like Viking and Mythology, give every park its own visual identity.
Managing guest satisfaction now extends into water park care, since shade, sunscreen, lifeguards, and changing rooms all factor into keeping visitors happy and safe. A new heat map feature shows park-wide needs at a glance, while a brand-new event sequencer tool lets players stage dramatic, real-world-style park experiences. Multiplayer support lets friends collaborate on a shared Sandbox park, compete in Franchise Mode leaderboards, or visit each other’s creations in first person as a guest, all shared through the cross-platform Frontier Workshop.
