Team Ninja: Wii U Hardware Is Changing Constantly

Speaking to Nintendo Gamer magazine, Team Ninja's Fumihiko Yasuda and Yosuke Hayashi braised how easy it is to develop games for Nintendo's upcoming Wii U.

"We're finding it very similar to develop for Wii U as for Xbox 360 and PS3," they said.

The duo also braised the fact that Wii U's hardware is still being changed to meet developers' desires

"They've asked us what we would want from the hardware, and when we give them feedback we can see that they're definitely listening to it and making changes," said Hayashi. "The hardware is still constantly changing."

With the console scheduled for release this year, it seems to us that it is too late to change any major features or hardware specs; However, it is possible that Hayashi refers to minor tweaks or aesthetic changes.

Sii U

Remember yeah, you can get hold of a fully working smartphone powered computer on a credit card at raspberryPI. It played Flash 11 with Unreal Engine at 50FPS in the browser at 1280*728.

Nintendo is going to design a gimmick, with (worse) hardware than the above maybe paying $4 per unit for hardware components?

Then, they will put it in a nice plastic chunky box, attach mario (yawn) to the packaging, and people will buy it for $350.

GET A GRIP NINTENDO! Problem is, the company is no longer run by gamers, producers and designers. It is run by businessmen who last year headed the chair of a train company.....

The brand has not changed, but everything else has. Whoever is sitting at the top table have no clue what so ever about the market.

are u mad!!

the wii u even at its lowest expected specs is going to run all games at 1080p native at 60fps thats approx 3-4 times more power than that crappy phone you mentioned not only that the memor.. and texture ram will afford far better detail ..you just wait and see

its not hard...

you wanna sell consoles... make your games look pretty..

look, people are stupid.. they just want flashy pretty effects..

noone cares about gameplay much anymore.. (some of this can be disagreed upon, since games like minecraft, etc etc

graphics are archaic old. but the gameplay is just fun..

the system with the best graphics will usually sell better..

now with 360/ps3 the systems are more or less par visually..

but i still say ps3 mops the floor with all of the perks you get from sony, as you do from m$.

but every nerd raging teen is gonna argue there choice till there blue in the face..
