Astrolancer combines top-down shooter and shoot ’em up gameplay into one action-packed experience. You play as LANCER TWO, a superweapon designed to fight the dreaded FORMATROIDS on the galaxy’s edge. Inspired by a 1988 cult classic, Astrolancer offers retro-styled adventure with modern appeal, alternating between top-down shooting and high-flying shoot ’em up sections.
