Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition on Steam DB

Borderlands 2 has had a whole lot of DLC released for it in the past 10 months or so. Really, if you've only played the base game, you haven't even scratched the surface of what Pandora has to offer. But don't worry, you don't need to buy each one individually or look at Season Passes, you can just wait for the Game of the Year version to be released.

Spotted this morning over on the Steam Database, the GOTY version of Borderlands 2 comes packing everything that's been released so far. That's the base game and all of this:

  • Captain Scarlet’s And Her Pirate’s Booty
  • Mister Torgue’s Campaign Of Carnage
  • Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt
  • Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep
  • Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade
  • Mechromancer Pack
  • Psycho Pack
  • Creature Slaughter Dome

No word yet on when this will be released, or what the price will be - I'm guessing close to the original retail cost - but we do know its coming.

So how about it Pandora fans? Will you be heading back to the Borderlands when this lot is released under one banner, or have you had enough mindless shooting for one year?

[Thanks AGB]

not a fan, but will download

not a fan, but will download it when it comes out. i hope that they will release the c**ck as son as the game comes out. this game have every reason to be downloaded. so please, help extend hand in seeding this game. megagames community need to be strong and united against game company that release DLC upon DLC that basically trying to rob the gamers.

How does it make you feel

How does it make you feel that $60 AAA products come incomplete and sometimes obsolete? Games like BF, and Borderlands, if you do not purchase the extras you are left behind in the multiplayer aspect. It makes me feel like the pirated versions at $0 is sometimes worth more than the $60 version that comes without the extras (Rome 2). Maybe too many people don't care, and will pay no matter the reasons. Like with Xbox Gold (that provides nothing), and seemingly endless DLC maps and extras instead of being provided as appreciation for your contribution. I say if the game they choose to play is to see how much they can get away with. Watering down the game on release, introducing extras that make the previous product obsolete in a multiplayer sense. Then piracy if an easy to justify response. If you can not force them to be reasonable, you may not have too. It's a two way road with the internet, they can not force you to pay. Especially if their product is a slap in the face, or obsolete the day of release.

Well, don't buy it for $60 on

Well, don't buy it for $60 on the day of release if you don't think you're getting the value you deserve for it. That's what I did with Borderlands 2 - the game and season pass were $13 this week on GreenManGaming. On the other hand if there's a game whose developers you want to support, buy as much as you can at full price just to show them that.
