Dark Souls Director Admits PC Version Was Half-Assed

Dark Souls II director Yui Tanimura admitted that the PC version of Dark Souls was half-assed and promised not to repeat that mistake with its sequel.

"A lot of it was not very well done, sort of half-assed," he admitted before asserting that " This time, because we are considering the PC from the beginning, you can be sure there will be more care put into PC development."

Dark Souls for PC was virtually unplayable without applying fan-created mods that fixed a lot of its performance issues.

If you're referring to the non enhanced edition of The Witcher 1 I can say that was a good game but the engine and a few bugs held it back from being awesome, the enhanced version was a lot better, however if you look at Witcher 2 it's a lot better and clearly optimized for the PC. Only reason why I'm using those years is it seems like that when games just sucked compared to the games of old. Nothing wrong with making money but it seems like there cutting corners to save money and ripping the customer off from purchasing it. I never buy a PC game that's $60, the price hike too me was just BS and for the most part there just ports from console
