No Mod Support For PC Titanfall At Launch

Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella revealed that the PC version of Titanfall won't have mod support or ship with any form of map editing tools. On the plus side however, he promised that the studio "will have to evaluate after launch."

Titanfall is a Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One exclsuive. The game was officially announced as Respawn's debut game at Microsoft's E3 2013 press conference, and is scheduled for release on March 11, 2014.

In Titanfall, players fight in online multiplayer-only matches set on a war-torn planet as mech-style Titans and their pilots. Its action is fast-paced, including abilities to run on walls and hijack mechs, and extended periods between player deaths.

They will consider means Buy

They will consider means Buy it, then after 6 months we'll tell you there won't be support but we should have it for titanfall2. Then even more stupid gamers buy the 2nd opus that doesn't have of course the said modding support. Just get arma3 already if you want some smart shooting and let the arcade shooter for console kids.

what they mean is

What the really mean is, they want to have good sales on the xbox 360/one as if they did have it open for modding on the pc, most would certainly go for that version over the other 2.......

bullshit. Game already looks

bullshit. Game already looks casual as hell and like the average console FPS so people playing this on PC will be playing a port, only reason they will not allow modding is because they planning to sell DLCs instead of letting people come up with custom content, again like your typical casual console shitfest shoter.

Ironic that...

It's ironic, the entire reason they are shifting to DLC models and microtransactions are because you people used to pirate the games back when there were no DLC's etc! So they actually wanted to make some money, were forced to go to DLC model and you people use that as your excuse, instead of admitted you are either A: Broke asses or B: Just don't want to pay because you're cheap asses. Either way you're still an ass ;)

Nah, game studios thrived

Nah, game studios thrived back in the days and piracy was just as rampant, if not more. DLC was a practice a good-company-gone-bad introduced the world to with fucking horse armor because they were getting too greedy for their own good. Naturally the other greedy companies saw that and did the same and idiot players buying DLC sealed the deal.
