Rumor: Prey 2 Is Cancelled

Rumor has it that Prey 2 has been cancelled.

The game's developer, Human Head studio, was set to speak about its development process during this year's Game Developers Conference. However, the keynote was cancelled upon request from the publisher, Bethesda. This was seen at the time as a natural move to protect the secrets of an unreleased game.

Some sources went as far as to claim that Bethesda is readying an official cancellation statement for release early next week. The publisher refused to comment.

Prey 2 is/was scheduled for release later this year on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

rehashed, same old engine, moves, gameplay, just slightly diff story is what 80% of the games coming out are.. all the AAA titles are boring as ****.

yo. all you gay big wigs.. take a lesson from the INDIE scene.. maybe then youll make some money making **** ppl actually WANT to buy!

The problem is that this game has very little to do with the original, so I don't really know what you're hoping for. They've taken out much of what made the first game fun and interesting. "Prey" was the last FPS I gave a **** about honestly, and they've ****** all over it.

I don't even know why it's called "Prey 2"; it may as well be called "I Make Love To Lawn Tractors". Nothing of value will be lost if it's cancelled.

It's better than nothing. Besides, it looks really good and you'll meet Tommy later on from what I've read. I'd rather wait until it comes out and play it for myself than take your word for it.

How am I being desperate?

I'm saying it's better than nothing because if it does come out, then it's better than having no sequel. Geez, you people always make assumptions about other people so quickly.

Not going to be arguing any further. You don't think it's going to be good, I think it's going to be good, let's drop it and move on. I'm just sick of people that can't agree to disagree.
