Steam Acquires Studio Found By Ex-Diablo III Developers

Star Filled Studios, the new San Francisco based startup found by two ex-Diablo III developers has been acquired by Valve.

The studio was cofound in September 2012 by Tod Semple and Jeff Gates. Both developers worked at Blizzard North while developing Diablo III then moved on to PopCap to work on Plants vs. Zombies before deciding to start their own studio. Before Diablo III, Semble worked on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed at LucasArts while Gates worked on Spore at Maxis.

Valve cofounder, Gabe Newell, confirmed that "The guys who did PvZ, down in the Bay Area, we're helping them set up a Valve subsidiary there." However, he refused to give any hints regarding the studio’s current projects.

Pretty much, what makes

Pretty much, what makes people think that EA is doing well enough to buy out Valve, EA games are junk and they are threatened by Valve, at the rate Valve is going it will probably buy out EA not the other way around, with the news of the new Steam Box which will make them a ton of money and their move to support linux they are going to make a killing while EA does the same old **** losing more and more sales each year.
