Le créateur de Castlevania crée un niveau démoniaque dans Mario Maker
If you were going to have anyone from the classic library of Nintendo classics build a level in Mario Maker, there are probably a number of people you would pick before the creator of Castlevania. However thatâs now how it would go if you were looking for the a fiendishly difficult, player punishing Mario level, as Koji Igarashi has built something quite different from the norm.
Right off the bat, players have to take on King Coopa before even making it past the first jump. Then thereâs a tonne of vertical enemies, horizontal moving platforms and flame jets trying to cook you from behind.
The level is nasty, but fortunately for those hoping to complete it not too long.
This isnât part of Nintendo publicity campaign however, but Polygonâs look into the creation of classic Mario levels, using real video-game developers and mappers. Itâs interesting to see what they make versus those of us who donât have quite such map building pedigrees.
Have you guys had a play with Mario Maker yet? Did you make anything harder than this?
