Atari Asking For Help Bringing Pong To Modern Handhelds

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the original Pong arcade game, Atari is asking the community to help in re-envisioning the game and bringing it to modern handhelds.

In addition to a full revenue-share publishing agreement including marketing and PR support, Atari is offering indie developers cash prizes of $50,000 for 1st place, $37,500 for 2nd place, $15,000 for 3rd place, and $5,000 to each of the remaining seven finalists.

Finalists will launch their games on the App Store later this year under the Atari brand, along with a publishing agreement and full launch support.

ignorance is a waste

What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with first person shooter. And if you are referring to the contest, then contests as been around before call of duty started. Think before making pointless ignorant statements please.
But to the actual article I must comment that its a great idea for anyone to try earning cash for their creativity.
