EA CFO: New Game Content Distracts Battlefield 4 Players From Its Bugs

EA CFO Blake Jorgensen believes that Battlefield 4 brand hasn't "seen any damage" as a result of the multitude of technical problems that have been plaguing it since its launch in October 2013.

"We've also tried to provide extra content to the consumers to make sure they keep coming back and playing the game and we're finding that it's working very well," he said. "I don't see that there's a damage issue. I think for us it's making sure that we're providing great gameplay for the consumer and we'll continue to do that."

A couple of weeks after launch, DICE paused new games development and reassigned its development team to fix Battlefield 4 technical problems. Some of the worst issues have been resolved since then, but there are still plenty of issues to work on.

EA is currently facing a class action lawsuit where one of its investors is accusing the company of making "materially false and misleading statements" about Battlefield 4's quality before launch.

EA CFO: New Game Content Distracts Battlefield 4 Players From Its Bugs I DUNNO megagames, maybe I read a COMPLETELY ******* DIFFERENT statement from their guy, you know one that wasn't in your statement, and maybe you aren't actually slandering the **** out of people just to get views! Maybe but I doubt it, how about some god **** ethics while writing?

"I don't see that there's a

"I don't see that there's a damage issue." I never pre-ordered BF4 but I was gonna get the game. When I heard about how unplayable it was, I decided not to buy it at all. The damage is there, you just don't see it.

I think EA is very wrong on

I think EA is very wrong on this issue. I didn't pre order Titan Fall based on BF4 even though they are totally different studios that made the games. Me and about 10 other friends all decided that we were going to wait. Maybe pick up Titan Fall when its at the $30 sale price and only if the game does well. My point is we are trying to speak with our wallets and a few trinkets in BF4 will not make us forget that even today some ~130 days after BF4 release there are still major issues with the game. Go suck it EA, you can suck it until you gag on it! I can 100% guarantee that neither me, my friends or any member in the100+ member clan I'm in will be pre ordering or buying BF5 when it first comes out. (And that's no joke on the clan thing, out of the over 100 players that own the game about 10-15 play BF4 an a regular basis while about 50 are back playing BF3 and the rest have just moved on to new games. The forums are filled with BF4 hate and haters!) but hey... this ***** has to say something to distract bf4 investors from EA and its stock performance.

no issues

only issue i had was sound bug, since last patch i havent had it no more. (maybe 10-15 seconds when starting a match) but thats not a huge issue.. actually the ONLY grip i have with the ps4 is the wifi loosing its signal even at 100% strength (thousands of ppl have this issue) so its obviously FW based issue as it only happened past 1/2 ps4 updates ago
