Minecraft Developer Pledges Several Millions To Schafer To Make Psychonauts 2

Psychonauts was one of the best games that didn't achieve the market success it deserves and has not helped its creator, Tim Schafer, in getting any publisher to fund its sequel.

"I mean I get a lot of, on Twitter or whatever, daily questions about Psychonauts 2," he said in an interview with Digital Spy. "And I would love to do Psychonauts 2, I've actually pitched that to publishers several times and no-one has taken the bait so far."

Schafer then explained that he needs someone to give him several million dollars to make the game.

Luckily enough, the published interview was read by Minecraft developer, Notch, who got interested and responded promptly on twitter: "Let's make Psychonauts 2 happen."

Notch does indeed have a few million dollars at hand, thanks to the unexpected success of his recently launched Minecraft.

Meh

How does one of the best games that didn’t achieve the market success even qualify as a best game? Sounds like the cake is a lie!

Because.

Psychonauts was underrated. There's some games that didn't get any market success and they're considered the great. Like Chromehounds and Bulletstorm.
