Nintendo Announces Nintendo 3DS The First True 3D Handheld

In a very brief press release, Nintendo announced that it will release a new handheld, the Nintendo 3DS, to succeed the Nintendo DS series.

According to Nintendo, the Nintendo 3DS will offer true 3D graphics without requiring the user to wear any kind of special glasses. The new handheld will be released before March 2011 and will be backward compatible with Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi games.

No more (official) info is available yet about the new device, but Nintendo promised to reveal more details in this year's E3 expo. The E3 show begins on March 15, 2010.

The Nintendo Company had its roots in the manufacture of Japanese playing cards in Kyoto in the late 19th century. One hundred years later it was the world's leading force in interactive entertainment systems and software. Nintendo has sold more than 1 billion video games, producing and marketing home-centered video-game systems such as Nintendo 64 and Game Boy. Through skilful marketing, the rapid expansion of games titles, and developments in chip technology the company's success continued to grow. Let us mean it, it is so hard to manage such big company. Imagine a lot of the biggest financial mistakes go back to not running a budget correctly, or not sticking to a wise plan for budgeting. So it’s really a big success for them.
