WoW Classic invaded by YouTubers before it's officially open

After years of waiting, begging, and pleading with Blizzard to allow them to play World of Warcraft as it was when the game first debuted in 2005, gamers are finally getting their wish in the next few days, with Classic WoW. However, one enterprising YouTuber has managed to gain access to it before the launch and they've been giving us a good look at what we can expect from the revamped return to Azeroth as it was before even the Burning Crusade began.

Posted by DodgyKebaab, the video put up by the YouTuber juxtaposes new footage of the Classic Wow Demo with video from the original 2005 client to show what kind of changes have been made in this time. WoW has been given a number of graphical improvements over the years, so looks quite different today than it once did, even given the fact that Blizzard is looking to offer a recreated version of the game as it was when it first launched.

According to Eurogamer, Kebaab got access to the demo early by being linked a build of it on Discord where it leaked. That does mean the world isn't entirely populated just yet -- it's lacking NPCs, quests, or much of the game's content -- but it is there and you can run around it.

If you want to get access to it yourself, you can look for a leaked build -- perhaps on Discord -- or you can buy a ticket to Blizzcon. A virtual one is fine, but whichever one you opt for, you'll get access to the WoW Classic server before (almost) anyone else.
