Perfect-parry timing in The Blood of Dawnwalker can punish even small mistakes. Patch 1.0.3 changed the timing path and made this worse. Easier Parry widens that window with your choice of a forgiving 2x multiplier or a Super Easy 50x preset. It now also triggers the game’s own native perfect-parry reaction on top of that. The mod runs as a simple Pak file, so it needs no script extender. As a result, landing a perfect parry becomes far more forgiving, tuned to exactly how much of an edge you want.
What’s Included

Easier Parry – 2x: Doubles the perfect-parry timing window from its default value, for a moderate but noticeable boost.
Easier Parry – Super Easy 50x: Widens the perfect-parry timing window fifty times over, treating it as an effectively unlimited window for accessibility.
Native Perfect-Parry Reaction: Triggers the game’s own perfect-parry reaction in Omni combat once the widened window kicks in.
Untouched Core Combat: Leaves normal blocking, dodge timing, invulnerability, and stamina costs completely unchanged.

Why You Need This Mod
Tight parry timing can turn combat into a memorization exercise. Some players want just a light nudge, while others want parry timing removed as a concern entirely. This mod covers both ends with two distinct presets. Therefore, you can pick whichever level of forgiveness matches how you want combat to feel.
How to Get Started

Download your preferred file and extract the archive to your PC.
Choose Easier Parry – 2x for a moderate boost, or Easier Parry – Super Easy 50x for an extremely forgiving window.
Remove any older Easier Parry files first if you have them installed. Delete all three files beginning with Dawnwalker_DoubleParryWindow_P or Dawnwalker_SuperEasyParryWindow_50x_P, since both current presets now share the same installed name.
Extract the archive into the main game folder and merge the included Dawnwalker folder when prompted.
Confirm the files land in The Blood of Dawnwalker/Dawnwalker/Content/Paks/~mods.
Install only one preset at a time. Switching presets replaces the same three installed files.
Launch the game. It needs no script extender or runtime loader.
To uninstall, delete the three files beginning with Dawnwalker_EasierParry_P from your ~mods folder.

Good to Know
This mod conflicts with other packages that replace GE_DefaultAttributeValues or DA_CombatConfig. It doesn’t overlap with the current Stamina and Sprint Tweaks assets. You can install or remove it on an existing save, and it won’t affect progression data. Direct gameplay testing has confirmed the Super Easy 50x preset works as intended. The 2x preset went through the same repaired path and passed package verification, though it hasn’t had separate gameplay testing on the current patch. This mod’s promotional artwork carries an AI-assisted tag.
