Things start innocently enough one morning before work. While checking your e-mail you encounter a mysterious "access violation" on your Windows desktop. You close it, yet it keeps coming back every time you restart. But this isn't a typical access violation. You dig deeper, and find that it contains a message. Someone needs your help. They can't say why... or for what reason. They tell you their life is in danger. They tell you YOUR life is in danger too. And so it begins. Will you help?
J.D. Spy is a new adventure-puzzler from Indy Studios that throws you, the player, into the midst of an international conspiracy spanning 4 continents. To survive, you will need to immerse yourself into a world where loyalty has no meaning, and each wrong move could be your last. You will decode encrypted messages, confront dangerous terrorists, break into secured computer systems, analyze photographs for evidence, track down vital clues from around the globe... but will it be enough...

I really like this game. Even thou I think it's quite hard... I'v got the file but now what? Isn't there somewhere to get some tips michael? I'v tried to reach youre site but I couldn't... But, its a great game!

This is actually an excellent, although I doubt that anyone can finish it. It´s TOO hard. By the way, in the "Gul" picture, it´s IMPOSSIBLE to see the name of the street an the numbers of the building. And what about the "note.txt" did anyone solve it?

okay i solved the number thing about the kings and got the server which i have to telnet to ...BUT HOW IN THE WORLD DO WE FIND OUT THE DAMN LOGIN ?????? whats the login and how do we find it !!!!!

the log in is something in the profile but for the password you have to research something inportant he did. Now can someone help me with the web site that you download. I dont know what to do with it.

ok this telnet thing doesnt work properly or i am doing it wrong, i got into the server and found those files, they are all just crap anyway and i can do that attrib thing on anything it says file name not found?????????????

This is a nice idea but that's all it is. I suppose enthusiasts of the spy/covert genre might get excited by it, but it's not very clever really. The login error message is actually part of the game by the way - read the online help. 5/10DazJ - Purveyor of comments that are actually useful.

What in the world do you do with the downloaded site that is on the database? I have been asking this for quite some time now. And if you have other questions read some of the damn posts.

Muhd no 2, you almost have it correct. You need the street number too in addition to city, street, and country. There are numbers on some of the buildings - probably the hardest part of that puzzle.

Thanks for the comments guys. I know it's hard, but I didn't want to make a watered down game for the masses. Use the hint guide if you need help but don't want spoilers.

I've managed to follow the hints here right up until the telnet login, but I can't get past that! I've tried to get the hint guide, but my ISP doesn't seem to like the '_' in the address. Can someone please send the guide to me?

READ TO ERROR MESSAGE !do not be alarmed i apologize for crashing your computer but itwas necessary to infect your system with the virus so that i couldcause an access violation in the block of memory reserved for windowssecurity to modify many of your core system dlls i can not explainmy intentions at the moment but i desperately need your helpactivate the new dlls by double clicking the red x then doubleclickin the error message text box then hit the debug button when youcloset his message box the new modifications i installed will allowme to upload data to your machine vital to your safety i promisei will explain more when i can find a secure locati on if you donot wish to get involved close this message box no wand never openit again

The error message at the beggining... what is it? Mine says "unable to start the applicaton-a newer java...."is this the correct message?HELP!

don't think like it's a game, all puzzles have a solution. your all trying to rush through the game. some games aren't meant to be rushed. the best part of this game is that you think about it even when your not playing it, that's when the solutions really start to come to you, play it with a friend so that you can work on the puzzles together. my g/f and i are thrilled to have found a game we both love to play, even if she is better at it then i am (shh, don't tell her that, lol)>>thanks micheal, hope to see more from you in the future, good luck :-)

I'm not getting an "INVALID PAGE FAULT" at the start. I'm receiving a "ILLEGAL OPERATION ERROR".For the dummies, is this the same? or, is there something wrong with my PC?

Download info.dat. Rename to info.zip. The zip password is "Manchester United".16. Go back to Glowfast's server and unhide the info.dat file. Rename to info.zip and extract the files using the password "Manchester United". You should find the file news.bmp and sample.bmp. Sample.bmp contains a picture of a waterway, news.bmp contains a text nothow do i do this im stuck!!! HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

When I start J.D Spy and go to new game. After filling out te name aliase etc. an press on OK I get a Kernel 32 ERROR. And I have used the ordinary downloadprogram for explorer. I have tried to play it on both win2000 and the WinXPIs it so that my kernell32.dll is newer than the one that the program want to use?

I need help on J.D. Spy. How do you connect to the internet in the game. telnet ??? what is the server IP adress? and where do you find it?
