Subnautica 2’s fins and wakemaker give you movement bonuses, but the default values still leave room for a more noticeable speed boost. The Fin Faster mod reasonably improves the speed bonuses from tier I and tier II fins, along with the wakemaker. Furthermore, it installs as a straightforward pak override with no extra mod loader required. Consequently, movement feels snappier without turning traversal into something extreme.

How to Get Started

Download the mod archive and extract it to your PC.
Open your Subnautica 2 installation folder and navigate to:
steamapps\common\Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Content\Paks\~mods

Create a folder named ~mods inside Paks if it does not already exist.
Extract all 3 utoc/ucas/pak files into the ~mods folder.
Launch Subnautica 2. The fin and wakemaker speed changes now apply automatically.
To uninstall, delete the installed mod files from the ~mods folder.
