Days of Play 2026 Is Live: Don’t Miss These PS5 Deals Before June 10
Event: Sony Days of Play 2026 | Platform: PS5, PS4 | Sale Dates: May 27 to June 10, 2026 | Where: PlayStation Store, PlayStation Direct, and participating retailers
Sony’s annual Days of Play sale is live now through June 10, 2026, covering hundreds of PS5 and PS4 games on the PlayStation Store alongside discounts on accessories and PlayStation Plus memberships. Notably, this year’s sale arrives with no PS5 console discounts for the first time in several years, a direct consequence of recent hardware price increases across the industry. The software deals, however, are extensive and include some of the best single-game discounts PlayStation Store has offered in recent memory.
Sale Overview
Days of Play runs for two full weeks, ending on June 10, 2026. The official PlayStation Blog announcement confirms deals across the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Direct, and participating physical retailers. The sale also overlaps with Sony’s State of Play showcase on June 2, giving players a timely opportunity to act on anything announced during that event.
The full catalog of discounted titles is available at the official Days of Play 2026 page, where hundreds of PS5 and PS4 titles are listed with their discounted prices. The deals below represent the standout picks across the sale based on discount depth, game quality, and overall value.
The Best Game Deals: Biggest Discounts First
The deepest discounts in this year’s sale are worth acting on quickly. Several of the titles below rarely go on sale at this level, and the sale ends June 10.
Deepest Discounts
- Red Dead Redemption 2 |
$59.99$14.99 (75% off) | Action-Adventure | Rockstar Games, 2018. The single biggest discount in the game section. Arthur Morgan’s story is widely considered one of the best written in open-world gaming, and $15 is a price with almost no justification not to buy. - A Way Out |
$29.99$8.99 (70% off) | Co-op Action-Adventure | Hazelight Studios, 2018. A must for couch co-op players. Hazelight’s prison-break game requires two players throughout and remains the best entry point into the studio’s catalog before Split Fiction. - Cyberpunk 2077 |
$49.99$22.49 (55% off) | ARPG | CD Projekt Red, 2020. Over 25 million copies sold and one of the most technically impressive open worlds available on PS5. The Phantom Liberty expansion is sold separately, but the base game alone justifies this price without hesitation. - Stray |
$29.99$14.99 (50% off) | Adventure | BlueTwelve Studio, 2022. One of the most visually distinctive adventure games of the generation. Players control a stray cat navigating a walled-off robot city. Short, emotional, and unlike anything else on PS5. - Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition |
$29.99$14.99 (50% off) | Action-Adventure | Rockstar Games, 2013. Still one of the most-played games on PlayStation due to its active GTA Online ecosystem. The Premium Edition includes the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack. - Until Dawn |
$59.99$29.99 (50% off) | Interactive Drama | Supermassive Games, 2015. The remake of the original interactive horror title. If you missed it on PS4 or want the upgraded version on PS5, half price is the right time to buy.
Notable Deals at 25 to 34 Percent Off
- Split Fiction |
$49.99$34.99 (30% off) | Co-op Action-Adventure | Hazelight Studios, 2025. The newest game on this list and already one of the most celebrated co-op titles of the year. Only one player needs to own the game to play with a friend through the Friend’s Pass system. - Astro Bot |
$59.99$39.59 (34% off) | Platformer | Team Asobi, 2024. Winner of Game of the Year 2024. Additionally, it remains the best showcase of the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. 34 percent off is the deepest discount this game has seen on the PlayStation Store. - Ghost of Yotei: Digital Deluxe Edition |
$79.99$59.99 (25% off) | Action-Adventure | Sucker Punch, 2025. Released in October 2025 and widely considered to have improved on Ghost of Tsushima’s exploration systems. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the full digital content bundle. - Baldur’s Gate 3 |
$69.99$52.49 (25% off) | RPG | Larian Studios, 2023. Game of the Year 2023 and still the benchmark for modern computer RPGs on console. Consequently, discounts on this title are infrequent, making Days of Play one of the better chances to buy it at a reduced price.
Also Confirmed in the Sale
Sony has confirmed additional PS5 first-party titles are discounted in the PlayStation Store without listing every specific price upfront. Confirmed titles include Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered. Players should check the Days of Play page directly for current prices on those titles, as exact discounts were not confirmed at the time of writing.
Hardware and Accessory Deals
The most significant hardware deal in this year’s sale is PlayStation VR2, which is discounted by $100. That headset has spent most of its post-launch life at a price point that kept players waiting for a sale. This is the deepest official discount Sony has offered on the hardware to date.
Additional confirmed accessory deals include the following:
- PlayStation VR2: $100 off the standard retail price. The strongest single hardware deal in the 2026 Days of Play lineup.
- DualSense Wireless Controller: Reduced to approximately $60, representing roughly $20 off the standard price. Available in multiple colorways.
- PS5 accessories: Additional deals on accessories such as controllers, headsets, and charging docks are listed on PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. Prices vary by retailer.
Importantly, there are no PS5 console discounts in this year’s Days of Play promotion. Push Square confirmed that Sony explicitly excluded console price cuts this year, directly following a run of PS5 hardware price increases across multiple regions in April 2026. Last year’s Days of Play featured up to $100 off PS5 consoles. That is not on the table in 2026.
PlayStation Plus Deals
Sony is offering a discounted 12-month PlayStation Plus Premium membership as part of Days of Play. New subscribers can join before June 10 at the sale price. Furthermore, existing subscribers can stack the discounted membership onto the end of their current plan, extending it at the lower rate.
Deals are also available on Essential and Extra tier memberships. Players looking to upgrade from a lower tier can do so at the discounted rate by paying the pro-rated difference for the remainder of their current billing cycle.
As a separate Days of Play benefit, PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe members gain access to Game Trials for more than 40 indie games between May 27 and June 10. The lineup includes Baby Steps, Lumines Arise, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Additionally, June’s PlayStation Plus monthly game additions have been announced. Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide join the service at no extra cost for subscribers.
Bottom Line
The absence of PS5 console discounts is the one genuine disappointment in this year’s Days of Play, but the software side more than holds up. Red Dead Redemption 2 at 75 percent off and A Way Out at 70 percent off are close to historically low prices for both titles. For players waiting on Split Fiction, Astro Bot, or Ghost of Yotei, this is realistically the best time to buy any of them before the summer. The sale runs until June 10, and the State of Play on June 2 could add further reasons to spend.
