STAR WARS: Galactic Racer

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer comes from developer Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode. The game released on October 6, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. After the fall of the Empire, an underground racing circuit called the Galactic League rises in the lawless Outer Rim. Players step into the role of Shade, a lone pilot chasing revenge and glory in that unsanctioned sport.

About the Game

Galactic Racer is a runs-based racer, so no two campaign runs play out the same way. First, players enter high-stakes races across varied circuits on worlds such as Jakku, Ando Prime, and Sentinel One. Then they slam, shunt, and take down rivals to climb the standings. Because the solo campaign follows a roguelite structure, the order of events and the story shift depending on how each run goes. As a result, every choice affects Shade’s status in the Galactic League.

The campaign also builds a cast of allies and rivals, so old grudges and new alliances shape each run. Meanwhile, players pilot landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers, each with its own handling. On top of that, Sebulba appears as part of the story. Beyond the campaign, Arcade and Scenarios modes add time trials and races with special conditions. Finally, the score comes from composer Gordy Haab, and the game runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Key Features

  • Four Vehicle Classes: Landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers all handle differently. Each class has distinct physics, so switching vehicles changes how a race plays.
  • Build and Customize: Players experiment with build strategies across three styles of repulsorcraft. As a result, each ride can match a personal racing approach and offer a competitive edge.
  • Arcade and Scenarios Modes: Arcade mode offers quick races, time trials, and leaderboard chases. In addition, Scenarios mode sets races under unique conditions, from practice runs to hardcore challenges.
  • Online Racing for 12 Players: Online multiplayer supports up to 12 pilots across two game modes. Additionally, player banners and liveries let racers show their style in those lobbies.
