About the Game

The Ranchers is a country-life sim for one to four players. First, players buy a plot of land and gather basic resources at a workbench. Then they craft fences, sprinklers, and greenhouses to turn the plot into a working ranch. Meanwhile, barns and coops hold chickens, bunnies, goats, and cows that need daily care. As a result, every day mixes farming chores with trips into the wider world.

Daily villager orders and local markets give the harvest a purpose, so players always have goods to sell. Water and electricity matter too, because players can sign utility contracts or build wells, wind turbines, and solar panels. Seasons and a day cycle also limit when shops are open. Therefore, planning a trip matters almost as much as planning a crop. Reckless behavior such as stealing or dangerous driving can draw police attention.
