ZeroSpace

ZeroSpace

ZeroSpace is developed by Starlance Studios and Ironward, and published by Starlance Studios and Gamersky Games. It entered Steam Early Access on July 20, 2026, for Windows. Players take command of the Protectorate, a galactic force fighting to secure humanity’s place in the Orion sector as a hybrid sci-fi RTS with a cinematic RPG story woven through every mission.

About the Game

ZeroSpace pairs classic real-time strategy base-building with hero-driven tactics. Players deploy infantry, artillery, and air units alongside powerful hero commanders, choosing between four warring factions and seven mercenary factions to build a fighting style suited to their preferred pace. A singleplayer campaign puts players in the role of Aster, commander of the Protectorate, using dialogue trees and story choices similar to Mass Effect and Baldur’s Gate to shape how the galaxy’s political turmoil unfolds.

Outside the story campaign, a persistent, shared Galactic War lets thousands of real players compete for territory across the sector, supported by co-op missions, PvE skirmishes against AI, and traditional 1v1 and team battles. The Early Access build already includes 13 campaign missions, 10 co-op missions with procedurally generated enemy compositions, and skirmish support against up to eight AI difficulty levels, with more content planned throughout the year-long Early Access period.

Key Features

  • Hero-Driven RTS Combat: Command infantry, artillery, and air units alongside powerful hero commanders across four main factions and seven mercenary factions.
  • Cinematic Campaign with Player Choice: Dialogue trees and story decisions shape the campaign’s political outcome, echoing choice-driven RPGs like Mass Effect.
  • Persistent Galactic War: Join a shared, ongoing galaxy map where thousands of players compete for territory across multiple game modes.
  • Procedural Co-op Missions: Ten co-op missions generate enemy factions, compositions, and objectives differently each time they’re played.
