Campaign Evolved’s weapon positioning doesn’t always match how those same weapons looked and felt in the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Classic Weapon Offsets adjusts every weapon’s screen position to resemble its Combat Evolved counterpart as closely as possible. Weapons that never appeared in the original game get positions inspired by their Halo 2 or Halo 3 appearances instead. As a result, weapon viewmodels feel noticeably closer to the classic Halo look throughout the campaign.
What’s Included

Classic-Style Weapon Positioning: Adjusts every Campaign Evolved weapon offset to resemble its Combat Evolved appearance as closely as possible.
Inspired Placement for New Weapons: Positions weapons that didn’t exist in Combat Evolved based on their Halo 2 or Halo 3 appearances instead.
Included Baboon Project File: Ships the .baboon project file alongside the mod, letting other modders build on these offsets in their own projects.

Why You Need This Mod
Weapon viewmodels carry a lot of a Halo game’s visual identity. However, modern reimagined positioning can feel unfamiliar to longtime fans of the original framing. This mod nudges that positioning back toward the classic look. Therefore, familiar weapons feel like they’re sitting in the right place again.
How to Get Started

Download the mod and extract the archive to your PC.
Close the game completely before installing.
Extract all files from the zip into Halo Campaign Evolved/Meteorite/Content/Paks/~mods.
Create the ~mods folder first if it doesn’t already exist.
Launch the game and check a few weapons to confirm the new positioning.
To uninstall, remove the mod’s files from your ~mods folder.
