The Quick Research mod completely eliminates that artificial padding by reducing all technology research times to a single cycle. Therefore, if you want to rapidly prototype new ship upgrades and focus on actual space exploration, this mod strips away the tedious waiting game. Consequently, you can build a formidable vessel much faster and tackle the game’s toughest challenges without staring at countdown timers.

Slashes the completion time for all standard technology research down to exactly one cycle.

Additional Details

Requirement: You absolutely must install the Unreal Engine Signature Check Bypasser for the game to load this modified file.
Because it heavily alters core gameplay files, you must choose to install only one variant (standard or merged) to prevent crashes.

How to Install

Download and install the Unreal Engine Signature Check Bypasser, alongside your preferred ASI loader, into your game directory.
Navigate to your main game installation folder and open the Star Trek Voyager – Across the Unknown\Content\Paks\ directory.
Create a new folder named ~mods inside the Paks directory if one does not already exist.
Download the Quick Research mod archive, picking either the standalone version or the merged Tech Requirements variant.
Extract the downloaded archive to a temporary folder on your computer.
Move the extracted mod files directly into your newly created ~mods folder.
Launch the game and start a new project at your research console to confirm it now completes in a single cycle.
