Sailing in Windrose is at the heart of everything, yet the default ship speeds can make even short crossings feel like a chore. The Faster Ships mod pushes every ship in the game to a noticeably higher cruising speed, covering all vessel types including the cutter. Furthermore, three speed tiers let you choose exactly how much of a boost you want. Consequently, you spend less time watching the horizon creep closer and more time actually arriving.
What’s Included

FasterShips: Increases speed by approximately 2 to 3 knots across all ships.
EvenFasterShips: Increases speed by approximately 5 knots across all ships.
FasterShips10: Increases speed by approximately 8 to 10 knots across all ships, with a slight turning speed improvement as well.

Why You Need This Mod
Long sailing legs between islands and objectives are a regular part of Windrose. However, the default ship speeds make those legs drag in a way that interrupts the game’s momentum. This mod trims that dead time without breaking the feel of naval travel. Additionally, the three tiers mean you can stay close to the vanilla experience or push into noticeably faster territory depending on your preference.
How to Get Started

Download your preferred variant and extract the archive to your PC.
Place the .pak file into: Windrose\R5\Content\Paks\~mods\ (create the ~mods folder if it does not exist).
Launch Windrose. The speed changes apply automatically with no additional configuration needed.
To uninstall, remove the .pak file from the ~mods folder and relaunch the game.
