Farming Simulator 25's first free content update has five new vehicles

The first free content update for Farming Simulator 25 has landed, with new vehicles, bug fixes, and more.

News in brief

  • Free Content Update #1 includes Patch 1.6.
  • The patch is being rolled out across platforms and may not be immediately available to all players.
  • It includes free new machines available at the dealership.

Farming Simulator 25's first free content update adds several new vehicles from renowned farming industry brands like John Deere and CLAAS. CLAAS ARION and John Deere 6R tractors are included, alongside an Albutt f155A Bale Grab, CLAAS FL 140 Frontloader, and John Deere 683R Frontloader.

Patch 1.6 includes performance improvements, bug fixes, and changes for modders. Highlights include:

  • Stability improvements to prevent crashes
  • Technical changes to improve performance
  • ModHub "update all" button and other QoL improvements
  • Graphics settings menu within the active gameplay
  • Saving notification icon in multiplayer
  • Smaller engine configurations on DEUTZ-FAHR Series 6C and SAME Virtus RVShift

For modding, support has been added for continuous motion in uvScrollShader using z and w values in 'offsetUV'parameter. The patch also fixes an issue with custom placeable names using the 'nameL10nKey' attribute not being synced to clients, and includes a fix for Lua breakpoints in Studio not working if they were added before connecting the game instance to Studio. Also, there's now a warning of env map directory if this is not properly set up for maps.

Fixes include changes to the custom pasture calculations, allowing for more pigs, chicken, and sheep in the same area as before. The patch also fixes the animal productivity bar showing global productivity instead of combined productivity, and fixes animal health and productivity calculation. The shop display will no longer cut off filltypes on some machines, and an issue with the display when all used machines are bought is also now resolved.

Full details of the patch can be found in the offical changelog.

Players can report bugs they spot using the game's Bug Tracker but should note that the support team doesn't answer individual reports.
