About the Game

WolfQuest builds its entire simulation around real wolf biology, developed with guidance from leading wolf biologists to keep behavior and ecology grounded in actual research. Players practice hunting elk, mule deer, and moose, learning each prey animal’s differences before finding a mate to establish a territory and choose a den. Once pups arrive, players feed and play with them while defending against predators like grizzly bears, cougars, and rival wolf packs.

Over time, a family grows nomadic as pups mature into yearlings and eventually disperse, mirroring the real generational cycle of wild wolves. Dynamic weather, seasons, and a genetics system that governs eye color and coat inheritance add further depth to the simulation. An optional Ironwolf Mode raises the stakes by making death permanent, while online co-op modes let players raise pups together, defend shared territory, or simply explore the map socially without any set objective.
